The stationary bike is another very popular form of cardiovascular workout. We tend to sell a lot more recumbent or sit down bikes versus upright bikes. It comes down to personal preference, technically speaking the upright bike is a slightly better; more natural exercise. You should choose the one you are most comfortable with over an hour workout. A major point to consider when choosing a bike is the resistance levels and types of resistance. Unless you are elderly or rehabbing an injury, stay away from the fan type bikes that do not offer any more than wind resistance. You will find on a bike with only wind resistance, a healthy person will not get much of a workout.
